On Tuesday, June 29, Ohio will The Ohio Development Services Agency is administering four grant programs, to invest in Ohio’s future, these include:

  • Food and Beverage Establishment Grant – provides grants of $10,000, $20,000, or $30,000 to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, food service contractors, caterers, fraternal organizations, buffets, and other food and drinking businesses. The amount of individual grants to eligible businesses will be determined by the business’ loss of revenue in 2020 compared to 2019.
  • Entertainment Venue Grant – provides grants of $10,000, $20,000 or $30,000 to theatres, music venues, spectator sports venues, museums, amusement parks, arcades, trampoline and adventure parks, golf courses, skilling facilities, bowling centers, and other entertainment venues. The amount of individual grants eligible to businesses will be determined by the business’ loss of revenue in 2020 compared to 2019.
  • Lodging Grant – provides grants of $10,000, $20,000 or $30,000 to hotels, motels, and bed and breakfast operations. The amount of individual grants to eligible businesses will be determined by the business’ decline in occupancy rate in 2020 compared to 2019.
  • New Small Business Grant – provides grants of $10,000 to small businesses established between January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020.

Applicants must have an OH|ID to apply. If you do not have one, you may register for one now at ohid.ohio.gov. You will need to create an account with a username and password.


The portal for applications will open on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. We assume there will be a link to the application portal within the Ohio Development Services Agency website, however the link is not online yet. Funds are available on a first come, first serve basis.
