Markovitz, Dugan & Associates, an accounting firm in Pittsburgh, announced a November 1 merger with Bodine Perry, a growing Certified Public Accounting firm with several offices in Ohio, Florida, and now Pennsylvania.

Markovitz, Dugan & Associates, founded in 1998, serves hundreds of clients from diverse industries. They have a staff of more than 35 professionals, including 14 Certified Public Accountants and other licensed professionals. All employees will continue in their current capacity with Bodine Perry. Managing Member, Derek J. Smith, CPA, “believes this merger will provide us the opportunity to even better serve our clients with a broader depth of resources locally, regionally, and nationally.”

The team from Markovitz, Dugan & Associates will continue to operate in the same office location, with the addition of a new satellite office in DuBois. Smith, along with Gina F. Levine, CBA, will join Bodine Perry’s partner group. The remaining shareholders will assume principal roles with Bodine Perry.
